This group project explores how flexible, sustainable, and affordable design can create homes that adapt over time to users’ changing needs. Rather than being an afterthought, future expansions are integrated from the start so occupants can easily adjust interior spaces.

The new build uses a 1200mm grid, modifiable in 300mm steps, and combines an independent steel frame with standard and custom interchangeable components. This approach enables quick construction, low maintenance, and maximum flexibility.
